Well this is suposed to be it, the end, but I really liked this. I found it relaxing and i was really comfertable writing about my art because it's something that I know. I don't want to finish blogging though, so I have decided to keep going. The twist? I wont write about art the whole time, I have other topics in mind. I have nothing to lose, right? As I sit in my writers workshop class, with the lights off and the christmas lights lit, the music quiet, but tastefull, thoughts on what to write about flow through my head.
I talked a lot about inspiration in my blog. I would like to say that this blog, right here, inspired me in a new way. Not in a painting or drawing sort of way, but in a writing sort of way. It inspired me to keep blogging, about things outside my comfort zone. About fantasy, opinions, even personal things like my life, family, friends, and enemies. Yes even my enemies, not everything in this world is perfect, even I have issues with people.
So this blog isn't really the end, more like the beginning. I'm not leaving, not yet, not until I have too. Not until I lose my inspiration, which is merely impossible. So I'm suposed to say bye, but in reality I'm sayig hello.

whats better than a pinwheel?
This inspiration goes out to my friend Sebastian, or as he like to be called "Taco". Yes he is weird, but normal is so over rated. Anyway, he like pinwheels, I mean who doesn't? Losers I guess. So he brought one to school(taped to his pen), and it gave me an idea. Obviously that idea was to draw one. So I did!
Sorry the picture above is a little blurry, but i don't have many "good" pictures of him. This will have to do though. People think that he is just flat out insane, but those are the people who don't know him. Once you get to know him he doesn't seem weird at all. Although i think he should have his own definition of crazy. Anyway, back to the pinwheel...
There it is. Nice and rainbowy, I know rainbowy isn't a word, but there isn't a better word to describe it. I used colored pencils this time. I first drew it out with pencil of course, and obviously then colored it rainbow. Now pinwheels are cool, and rainbows are cool, but a rainbow colored pinwheel is AMAZING! If you disagree you should just go away and never talk to me. Just kidding, kind of. So that's my pinwheel, nice and rainbowy. wink wink. So go out and get inspired, hopefully it's rainbowy, but if it isn't it's okay.

Peace Out!
| Aaron Van Oort |
My inspiration this time, would be my good friend Aaron. He wanted me to paint something colorful. I was drawing out designs and trying different colors, but I wasn't feeling it at all. So i decided to make random lines on my watercolor paper. So I did, but it was too boring. I then thought about Aaron, I wanted to work him into the painting and realized he makes peace signs in about 99.9% of his pictures. This is what I came up with.
I started out with the paint. I used complimentary colors, yup i brought those up yet again(red with green, blue with yellow, and purple with orange). This time I didn't mix them together. I painted in my random lines and let that dry. Once that dried i looked at it. I decided i didn't like it, that it was too boring. So I decided to draw a hand on it. I was thinking about Aaron and realized that he makes peace signs with his hands all the time. So i made a peace sign with my hand and drew it out. Then i went over it with a black marker. It wasn't until later that i realized it only had four fingers. So i tried to fix it and it looks a little better.
So inspiration can come whenever it wants. Its your job to catch it. Get inspired!

Out of this world
| IvyAnne Dawn Matthes |
I used the primary colors(red, blue, yellow) and the secondary colors(purple, orange, green). I love to use yellow because its such a happy and bold color. After I let that dry I painted the earth and the moon. To make the earth look less flat I put in a shadow. To do that I used complimentary colors, complimentary colors are two colors that help make one another stand out. They are always opposite of each other on the color wheel. So it red and green, blue and orange, and purple and yellow. so to shadow i usually mix the complimentary colors with each other. So on the green part I mixed green and red for the shade color and so on.
So paint how you want to paint, and paint when you get inspired. You never know when you will be inspired, so take it in when it hits you. Also, try new techniques because it's fun to see what happens when you experiment. So go out and get inspired!
